Is there a way to remove a menue option (other than macro code)?

in Office 2000 there is a new send to option.. the new one does not
send the file as an attachment but rather creates an e-mail OF the
file...

This may be good for some people but I can't imagine why more
importantly the people I support are hitting this option by accident
and getting really pissed-off.

you can't add text / you can't undo argggh! what a silly "feature"

Is there a way to turn this off other that building a macro to do it?
