Is there a way to have zip codes display correctly when opening E.

Is there something that can be set in options or elsewhere so that whenever
you open a workbook with leading zeroes, as in a zip code, it will be
displayed? It's annoying to always have to reformat the cels to get zip
codes to display correctly. These would be coming from database downloads to
Excel format, from Datatel to be specific.
