Is there a way to have different margins on odd/even pages?

I am going to print a document I'm working on the front and back sides.
Then, I'll put it in a three-ring binder. The front page will have the
three-ring holes on the left side but the back page will have the three-ring
holes on the right side. I'd like my margin on the non-three-ring-holed side
to be smaller than the three-ring-holed side. How can I do this?

As an aside, the document is 800+ pages long.

You don't say which version of Word you're using but you should find that if
you click on File -> Page Setup and click on the Margins tab you can click to
tick a box for 'Mirror Margins' (this gives you the double-sided ability) and
then set the 'Gutter' value to whatever you want the extra space on the
binding side to be. Make sure the gutter position is set to left for a
normal portrait left-bound document and everything should be OK. You can
check in Print Preview whether you have set the margins up correctly.

See http://www.allaboutoffice.co.uk/wordmargin.htm for more details.
