Is there a way to change how outlook polls its search results?

When Outlook searches it brings back the older emails ...results that match
the criteria first. Can this be changed so that the most recent emails to
match our search will show up first in the list????

If you stop to think about it, the results are logical. Are you not more
likely to recall a recent message rather than an older one? Putting up
older mail first makes perfect sense to me since I can recall the last
month's or so of received messages, but I sure don't recall that one sent
back in March.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

Milly if you think about it, If I have things in my inbox from 2004 and I
need to lok up something that happened a month or two months ago, I have to
wait for Outlook to search all 2004 and 2005 before I can find what I am
looking for.

In a business environment, it is more likely that users will search for
emails they sent or received several months ago rather than several years ago.

I know your response will be that I should not have 2044 etc....
