Mr. Ed

I would like only the top row to freeze without making it
310 px high; the hoizontal position.
Thanks, of course.

Hi
not sure but normally try the following
- move the cursor to the cell A2
- goto 'Window - Freeze Panes'

Thanks. The question is not how to create but how to
change how it default/creates after selecting only the top
row and how it chooses a range of 300 x 300 px for
vertical and horizontal scrolling. I have a top row that
stretches 40 cells (900 px) and only want the top row,
A1:AAG1 to freeze (height). It freezes to a manageable
point for horizontal scrolling (width), freezing the first
10 or so cell/columns (they vary in width) but the
vertical scroll (cell/rows) scrolls beginning 300 px down
(about 14 rows, again, variable heights). I want to adjust
that, the top to bottom size of the freez'd frames.
