My UPS logs power consumption. At certain times during the day, I can see
that power consumption was very high. If I'm on the computer, I can
determine why. More times than not, I'm not on the computer. I know that
my virus scans aren't running at the time or other obvious functions. Is
there an XP log or utility that will show what functions are actively
running during certain times of the day? I don't mean processes that are in
the background idle (msconfig) - I'm talking about functions that are
running consuming processor cycles, accessing disk drives, etc. Anything
that can cause a prolong spike in power consumption. Thank you.
