is there a "nopcmcia" linux-like kernel startup option for XP medi

Hi all
Suddenly, my xp media center windows does not start, it says it cant find
ntoskrnl file. The same problem on linux live distro, except that I can
workaround by using 'nopcmcia' boot option. Is there a similar option for
windows?
If not, how can I modify the registry so I disable pcmcia hardware?
