Is there a function to add up minutes and seconds?

BT,

=SUM(A2:A20)

Format as needed.

Format - Cells - Number - Time
FOrmat - Cells - Number - Custom [mm]:ss
 
Assistance appreciated. How do I add up a column of minutes/seconds
formatted as, for example, 1:03 to produce a total minutes and seconds ?
