is there a fdisk with xp ?

to delete/create some partitions before installing xp.

No, but you can boot from the CD and create your partitions, or use a
bootdisk.

It's called Diskpart and allows you to create and remove partitions. Quite
user friendly.

Boot using the Windopws XP CD, and run a Repair operation. You get to the
Recovery Console, which is a whole lot easier to use than the old command
line prompts in Windows 98/Me.
