is the driver written for XP will work 100% on XP embedded?

especially for the all the USB class drivers, are they needed to be
rewritten?

Patrick,

In a nutshell, if it works with XP Pro, it will work with XPe. Some drivers
take more work than others to componentize, but they all will work
(eventually). HTH,

Brad is correct. If a driver is compatible with XP Pro,
it should work well in XPe.

I would check to see if the drivers you are adding are
digitally signed. If they are not digitally signed, then
you need to disable the Driver Signing Policy in XPe
before the drivers will install. There is a tool that is
native to Windows called sigverif.exe that you can use to
check for unsigned drivers and files.
