Is possible to get domain from IP?

Hi. I have some "strange" visitors in my web site the last time. Fro
the statistics (extremtarcking) i have only the IP adress of the serve
used to access my site. Is there any way to view server domain nam
from IP? Is this legal?

I'm watching my statistics 2 -3 times the day. I'm pinging the IP's bu
without success (No responce)>I think there are not static IP's

Try searching the IP here:

http://ws.arin.net/cgi-bin/whois.pl

ping -a will give you the hostname.

Yes, it's legal.
