Is our DNS setup right?

Hi, our DNS seems to be working properly, but is this
setup ok? We migrated from NT4 to AD 2003, we upgraded
our PDC and followed the wizard to install DNS on the DC,
we created the Forest etc. We then ran DCPROM on and
existing Win2003 member server and installed DNS in this
server and created a secondary zone and pointed it
towards the first DC. When I look at the settings both
say DNS is AD integrated too. In the first DC's Network
settings I point the preffered DNS server to inself and
leave the Alternative as blank,. On the second DC I
point the preffered DNS server to DC 1 and Alternative to
itself.

Hope that made sense!

A secondary DNS server is unneeded. Just make the second server an
integrated dns server as well (Which it sounds like it is already). The
zones are contained in AD so no replication is needed. When you create a
second dns server as a secondary it requires unneeded replication traffic
and it can't do its own updates.

Point the primary dns server settings location of 1 towards 2 and 2 towards
1. Point the second settings of both servers at themselves.

Hi, it's strange because I set the 2nd serber up as
secondary, but it shows as AD Integrated, maybe it did it
itself?
