@ is not working in outlook 2003 ( french keyboard / english outlook )

Sounds like you need an english keyboard or a french version of
outlook...:-)
 
Look in Control Panel, Regional and Language Setting, Tab: Languages,
Details button ... check to see you have the right keyboard configured.
