My ZoneAlarm firewall has interncepted windows Messanger
with this query:
'Do you want to allow messanger ot act as a server?'
Is it safe to allow it? what does it mean? Thanks

Are you transfering files / data from you to another user
through Windows Messenger?

If this is the case, then Messenger does act as a server
in this context because the other user will download
their content from you machine, through messenger.

If you plan to share this type of content, then I would
allow Windows Messenger to Act a a server.

If you have a stand alone machine, absolutely NOT!! If you are connected to
network, by all means, follow Mike's advice.
