Is it possible to revert to previous setup?

Hello-
I used to have WinXP Pro with SP2, but a friend of mine did a new
installation (without formatting) on my pc. Is it possible to revert to
my old system, so it would be as it was before the new installation?

If the systen was installed to a folder with a different name than your
original, there would be a way to boot to both systems presented by a
'boot.ini' file, during startup.
