Is it possible to recognise typewrited documents by using ocr of Word 2003

Hello All,

I have windows xp, microsoft word 2003, and a scanner.

I have some documents which are typed using a typewriter.

Is it possible to recognise these characters using OCR of word 2003?
I want to edit the document after recognition is done.

Note - The documents are clean and neatly typed.

Word 2003 doesn't have OCR. But in general, OCR programs will handle neatly
typed text very well.
