Is it possible to keep all menus expanded?

Hi all,
I used to have allot of icons in the start menu, but after re-ogranzing to
folders, everything is much neater.
The odd thing is, even if there are only a few items, the menu still
minimizes to the 3-4 most accessed items. To see the rest, you have to
expand the menu (<< arrows)
Is it possible to always have these menus expanded?

If you have configured your computer in a non standard way you should say so. You only get hidden menu items on Start if you have changed to Classic Start menu. Anyway in the Classic Start properties clear Use Personalised Menus.

Thanks for the replies, Dave and Shiva. I have the same "problem", being on
old Windows 9x user, I chose Classic and ran into this, particularly in
Programs.
