Is it possible to add a users SID to a local group?

Does anyone know it is possible to add a users SID to a local group (on a
WindowsXP workstation)?
I want to add a domain user to the local administrators group on a WindowsXP
workstation that isn't a domain meber jet.

I think probably yes, if you were to modify the registry directly. But, I
don't see it doing you any good. The domain user could not log on to a
computer which is not a domainmember, so how is that user going to
administrate?

Would it not be simpler to use a script to create a local user with the same
name and password?
