Is Front Page Right For Me?

I need to create a simple retail web site for a few products first, but less than a hundred eventually

I need to display my "catalog", take orders, complete a http post transaction to a 3rd party and be able to understand the 3rd party reply in XML

I need this http post and xml reply to be secure

Can FrontPage do this out of the box, or will I need add-in or 3rd party components to complete my web page

Any other general advice about creating retail storefronts would be appreciated

Thanks

Yes, FP can be used, but you will also need to look for a 3rd Party Shopping Cart application that
integrates/communicate with your Merchant Account Providers Gateway applications, this may also
require a web host that supports the Gateway client, as well as having the ability to have your own
SSL certificate, not a shared SSL certificate.

Frontpage has no e-commerce capability straight-out but perhaps there are add-ins
that might help, else a third party product such as asp scripts might have to
do - and of course you'd host it on a secure server if taking credit card
information - that is a host/ISP issue.
