Is"Emailing:" in Subject necessary when sending frm Explorer?

I send emails from exlorer every day. We just upgraded to Win 2003. How do I
get rid of the "Emailing:" prefix in the subject line?

Delete it.

Try mailto_url - it has several advantages over the built in method.

Interesting site!

I should clarify... I create reports and store on our network. Then I send
the reports to distribution groups.

I go into WINDOWS exlorer (not Internet), right click the file and chosse
'Sent to as Attachment". My previous version of Windows only filled the
subject line with the file name, nice and clean. Now It adds "Emailing:" as a
prefix in the subject line. Is there a setting to change or omit the prefix?

Delete it.

I'll move to this post since it is the same issue I had started in another
post.
I too have this issue, I've tried the suggestion you offered Diane. It does
remove "Emailing:" from the subject line, but it also removes the filename of
the file I am trying to send. I want this to remain in the subject line.

Suggestions anyone?
