Is apple compatible with Powerpoint presentations?

I am making a powerpoint presentation for my class. They have an apple and I
do not have a laptop. There is no internet connection to the classroom
either. Do I really have to bring my tower to the class?

Check out PC to Mac and Back from the PPT FAQ:

http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00281.htm

The PC and Mac versions are about 90 - 95% compatible. You'll only run
into trouble if you use the 5 - 10% that is not compatible.

See the FAQ that David M mentioned.

Sounds like you're also concerned about how to get the presentation file(s) onto
the Mac. That's fairly easy. Since about three versions after forever ago Macs
have been able to read PC media. The Mac probably doesn't have a floppy drive;
Steve Jobs declared floppies uncool some time back and that was that. If you
can burn a CD with all your presentation files, it should work on the Mac. I'd
copy the files from the CD to a new folder on the Mac rather than trying to run
the presentation off the CD though.

If you have a USB "thumb drive" (aka Jump Drive, aka Pen Drive, aka whatever) it
should work nicely on most modern Macs.
