I have Microsoft Small Business - does it have any ACCESS capabilities? I
have been trying to find an executable on my CD's but nothing is loading! I
need to have MS ACCESS on my laptop...anyone know how I go about doing this?
Do I need to get a different 'OFFICE SUITE'?

My understanding is that SBE edition comes with the Access runtime to
support some of the SBE utilitites that are included. That could be used to
"run" other Access files of the appropriate version, but you would not be
able to use it for designing Access files.

If you need another office suite, the "Pro" version includes Access.
However, Access is also sold as a "stand-alone". It may even be
offered at a discount if you already have Office SBE. Check out this
MS site:

Under qualifying, it seems to say that a copy of Office XP or 2000 SBE
(or even Office 97) qualifies one for Access 2003 at the upgrade
price. I'm not sure I'm reading that right, but if so, that's a great
deal.
