Is a MSI RADEON 9800 PRO 128MB such a bad choice?

Just look the 100 five stars reviews in www.newegg.com if you have any doubt
about this card, in the forums around the world for many people is the best
choice nowadays in the 9800 pro's series (value for money ;-)!!!!).This card
has the R360 core, so is an 9800 XT underclocked, you can overclock it to
the XT speeds (412/365) very easy, also it has a stock heat sink amazing!!!
Don't hesitate, go for it!!

I have that card since july, and its perfect, I'm running now the Far Cry
Game at Very high - High settings, and it runs flawlessly and it looks
greats as well.

Just go to the newegg site (the main online store in USA).

I want to buy a RADEON 9800 PRO 128MB

I wanted to get one by Sapphire but it seems like nobody here (Israel) can
sell me one :(
It seems like i can get the same card by MSI instead. But I'm under the
impression MSI make lousy hardware
so my question is: can i live with the MSI card? Is there a difference in
preformance of Sapphire and MSI?
Plus, the MSI card actually costs more... go figure.

please respond... thanks in advance.

MSI makes excellent video cards. Better than Saffire. MSI usually
engineers their cards to be better than the reference design by
incorporating advanced cooling systems. I have an old ti4200 made by MSI
which has been flawless in it's operation, faster than other ti4200 8X
cards, and very quiet too.

I underline that sentiment. MSI used to have these crappy fans a few
years ago, but their "tin-can fan days" are over. Like Dave said,
their fans work much better than some of their competitors'. If I
wouldn't own the Club 3d 9800 Pro, my money would be spent on MSI for
sure.
