Irratic System Tray Icons

D

Donald Jacobs

Some of my system tray icons do not always appear at startup. One that
frequently fails to appear is the volumn one. Less frequently the new
Windows Defender icon is missing. This one is not a great problem as I
have a desktop icon for it. However I don't have a desktop icon for the
volume one and don't know where to find it to add to the desktop.

Help would be appreciated.

Don, you can find the Volume in the C:\Windows\System32 Folder. Scroll
down to sndvol32.exe rt click and select Send
to Desktop as Shortcut.
