Dear all,
I've found a big problem with my USB 2.0 PCI card. It makes my Win2k
unstable and sometimes it hang in the middle when doing start up.
I checked: System Information - Conflicts/Sharing and found something
strange:

IRQ 9 Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System
IRQ 9 Matrox Millennium G550 - Français
IRQ 9 Creative SB Live! series
IRQ 9 Realtek RTL8139(A) PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter
IRQ 9 VIA USB Universal Host Controller
IRQ 9 VIA USB Universal Host Controller
IRQ 9 VIA PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller
IRQ 9 Intel(R) 82801BA/BAM USB Universal Host Controller - 2442
IRQ 9 Intel(R) 82801BA/BAM USB Universal Host Controller - 2444

Anybody know how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Uhm, just exactly what did you find that was strange.
What you posted looks pretty normal to me.

What brand of USB card is it?
Who supplied the driver?
Are you at Service Pack level 4?

:D
The USB 2.0 card is a VIA chipset running with Service Pack 4.
I just bought another USB 2.0 card with NEC chipset, hope it will be fine.

Indeed, The NEC chipset solved my problem, at last my Win 2k runs normally.
But..........
the strangest thing is, it can't run into Safe Mode, I got BSOD everytime
and got a message:
IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal
Adress 8046059 base at 804000. Date stamp 4177335- ntoskrnl.exe
:(
