Irfanview 3.98 and mouse wheel use

Using 3.97 I used to navigate a dir with wheel forward (go to next pic)
or wheel backwards (return to previous pic). Now the wheel just moves to
the next pic regardless of direction of the mouse wheel. I just
installed 3.98 over the top of 3.97 so settings should remain.

I have hunted through the settings but for the life of me cannot find
the one I need. Please don't flame me, it is prolly there but I have
missed it when it is right under my eyes.

Help anyone?

PS Yeah, I know LMB goes to previous pic and RMB goes to next pic, but
it is very hard to change habits that you have had for a long long time.

Try reinstalling your mouse software. I fid that this fixes most
problems of that sort.

"sign here". I put "Sagittarius"

I have the same problem - but only when using fullscreen mode. When
using IrfanView in windowed mode, everything is fine. I've reported it
to Irfan as a bug. Will post back here when I hear back from him.

Ah, Irfan was took quick for me - the updated v3.98 fixes the bug! :-)

Where can the updated v3.98 be had? I don't want to download the one I
already have.

Hi Mike,

No problem - the link is http://irfanview.tuwien.ac.at/iview398.exe
(or http://irfanview.tuwien.ac.at/iview398.zip if you prefer the .zip
file version). These have now replaced the original v3.98 files, so if
you downloaded from this link before, don't worry - you will be
getting the new version. I didn't try the Tucows links to see if they
are mirroring the new 3.98 or not - downloading from the homepage is
good enough.
