IPSEC Security Policy taking network offline

I am setting up an IPSEC tunnel between 2 xp pro machines. After applying the security polocies the lan went down, but the machine that had the polocies still worked.

also on the client machine when I applied the polocies it not the cleint machine offline, which was different than the server machine because it at least stayed online....

any help is appreciated......thanks!

Be more particular with what you have done.. It is hard to diagnose
