Ipod issues

I'm frustrated. My Vista system saw my Ipod & now it doesn't. I've
installed the latest Itunes. No change.

Are you set to receive updates other than critical Windows updates? (see the
windows update link on start) There is a download available for the
IPod-ITunes set.

I set to receive updates for Windows and other products automatically daily.

I did the clean smart uninstall/reinstall of Itunes, Quicktime, Apple device
software,etc. and still Vista doesnot see the Ipod.

Have reset the Ipod as well as turned the hold switch a couple of times.

Found the problem. Bad Ipod.
