Ipconfig /displaydns

When I run the Ipoconfig /flushdns command at the prompt the return message
is indicating that it ran Successfully. Yet, when I run the Ipconfig
/displaydns command the table entries are still present.

I have tried running the release, renew and register commands to correct the
problem but the same table entries are still present. Their are no ARP Table
entries present. Any suggestions on workarounds?

I have found that entries in the hosts file (usually at:
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
) seem to always show up.

Resetting the cache does not eliminate entries that are preloaded from the
local Hosts file.
