You can't agree that we disagree? That must mean we agree :-)

I welcome you to switch to a Mac. When (not if, they are computers after
all) you have a problem you will see how easy it is to fix a Mac. They are
easier to learn to use for a beginner. They are much harder to fix when
something goes wrong.

Not one to put all of my eggs into one basket, I find that I, and my data,
have a vested interest to stay with the Microsoft brand. I am hopeful that
with the release of Windows Vista and subsequent versions, situations like
the one I encountered will improve if not dissapear.

I could easily argue to you, presuming you are one of the mac herretics,
that Windows would be a wise platform to migrate to. But alas, these choices
are not made by us, but by the companies that serve us. And as you can tell
from my unwillingness to simply flip, I am here, posting openly to Microsoft
in the hope that this problem may well be fixed.
