When I turned on Ip filtering in TCP UDP, IP protocol everthing works but I
cannot browse the internet. I had to turn on UDP to browse internet. What
UDP port I need to have open to browse the internet?
Thanks

Ip filtering is meant for another line of defense for dedicated servers. But
to your question, you would manually have to add every unpriviliged port
from 1024 to 65,535 udp I believe for the dns server to send traffic back to
you. You would be much better served with a personal firewall that can
control traffic in both directions. Zone Alarm is good for beginners, though
Sygate and Kerio are much more powerful as far as port mapping, logging,
fingerprinting applications, and building rules. They are all available free
for personal use. --- Steve
