IP address

I keep having warnings about my IP address being visible
to others ~ how do I alter this? Recently reformatted the
hard drive to factory specifications after the blaster
vitus. The event viewer, application an security areas
are full of warnings. Any help gratefully apreciated. Tai

Think of the IP address as the number on the front of your house.
People got to see it so it can be located when sending
something...data in this case.
However you protect yourself with a firewall.
