IP address from Security event log

Am I missing something?
Why don't Failed Login events list the IP address?
Hostnames don't resolve to anything on the internet!
Is there a way to get this information?
 
Windows 2000 does not display ip addresses outside of the network.
Windows 2003 does. You could correlate those logon failures to your firewall
logs possibly by time. -- Steve
