IOGEAR KVM Switch Problem

I just bought a new PC with Vista. My KVM switch does not seem to play well
with the new Vista PC. IOGEAR tells me the proper drivers were distributed
with Vista and they think it is a problem with the USB in the new PC. I think
it's drivers.

The issue is that the mouse and keyboard do not function properly with the
Vista
PC. They will intermittently stop working, or the keyboard will skip
letters, or decide to duplicate a letter many times.

Has anyone else had a similar problem and what did you do to solve it?

Carey,

Thank you for the quick response. A couple of questions:

How do I know if I need to update the 64-bit version or regular?
If this is the wrong fix, can it hurt to install?
Just save it to my desktop and then execute? Or do I have to do something
special with the Windows Updates panels?

Ok. I think I have a 64-bit processor. Could the problem be because the KVM
switch is 32-bit?

I downloaded the 32-bit fiix and applied it. It didn't make a difference.
When I attempted to later download the 64-bit fix, it said the 'fix was not
applicable'. Could it be the 32-bit fix blocked the 64-bit fix, or that they
are really the same and therefore the difference is 'not applicable'.

Should I be seeing this KVM switch in my device manager?

Where would I download new drivers if they were necessary? I've surfed
IOGear and Microsoft web pages and can't find anything.

Someone please assist.
