invoking a function

I need to invoke a function(fx) once a user clicks on button1
ex. Application.Worksheetfinction.CountA -- Is this correct?

Are you using Access? Your terms (Worksheetfinction) would indicate you are
asking an EXCEL question. This is an Access newsgroup.
