Is there a way to detect invisible programs or processes that the task
manager can't detect? It seems to be slowing down my net connection and
my comp as well. I can't seem to find any help in google. Thanks for
help!

to see all processes, open a dos prompt window (start/run>cmd <enter>)
then type: tasklist <enter>
to see all open network connections, in the dos prompt type netstat
<enter>

Flamer.

Well, the process may not be actually invisible; you may just not recognize
it or if it is a virus it may have infected a legitimate file or be using a
legitimate process like svchost. Or you might have a rootkit. Since you
haven't told us anything about your computer, what protection you have,
etc. it's not possible to be more specific.

Go through these general malware removal steps systematically -

I would definitely run Sysclean or Multi_AV, Ewido, and you might also want
to run F-Secure's Blacklight. Sysinternals also has a rootkit detector but
their site is very slow right now because of the news that MS has bought
them. HijackThis can be very revealing.

Another thing we don't know is your skill level. Even if you run HijackThis,
are you going to recognize what you see? Only you know. Start by going
through the scans as suggested and see what you come up with. If you decide
you need to run HijackThis, post your log to one of the specialty forums
listed at the first link (not here, please).
