Invisible Folder

I copied a folder and its contents (data) from one hd to another, on the pc.
However the Folder is not visible in explorer, nor from the dos prompt, even
after reboot.
My backup software does back it up, and the Folder, and its contents, is
visible on my offline storage, at its new location.
It also remains visible at the origonal location.
I'm perplexed.

Further; I can see the directory, and contents, using a NTFS boot up disk
but unfortunately this utility has no delete or rename option.
Any one suggest a utility?

Never mind, found one and rectified the problem
