I am using windows xp home edition, IE7. My temporary internet files folder
is invisable, even to Search. The only way I can see the foldeer or its
contents is if I access via Disk Clean-up.

Even if I move the folder using Interne options it still remains invisable.

How can I make it re-appear?

Try:

Open Windows Explorer, click Tools and select Folder Options. Click the
View tab and select Show hidden files and folders. Click the Apply button
then click the Like Current Folder button.

Doug,
Thanks for taking the time to respond. I had already tried the Show Hidden
Folder option. I'm concerned that the problem may not be quite that straight
forward. I wonder if there is a registry or even a command line solution to
this problem.

hmmm - maybe this is a purely IE7 issue. Try:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general - almost all of the recent posts
are IE7 related.

Then why didn't you say that in the first place? What a waste of
time.

Disregard, jaktomas1. If he had something intelligent to contribute he
would have offered it. I have to agree with Doug; this sound like an
IE7 issue.
