INVERT

How can one invert data in an excel column - i.e. In a column of 20 entries,
the 1st becomes last, second entry becomes second last etc - REGARDLESS of
the numerical value.

Use a help column with numbers from 1 - 20, select both columns and sort by
the help column
descending

To permanently reorder the data, use a helper column on the right. Put the
number 1 in the first cell, then use Edit/Fill/Series to fill the column with
numbers 1-20. Sort descending on this column, then delete it.

if the data is in A1:A20, then in B1 enter =INDEX($A$1:$A$20,21-ROW()) and
fill down. Then if you wish, copy/paste special values B1:B20 onto A1:A20 &
clear B
