invalid syntax error

i hooked my old computer up in a network with myt new
computer. my new computer is working fine, but today the
old computer will not get on the internet. i have a
cable modem, and everything was working fine for a year
or so, but like i said when i try to get on the internet
on my old computer it won't let me. there is an error
message at the top of the webpage that says there is
an "invalid syntax error". i tried to look up help
topics but none came up. HELP!!!!!
