Invalid Recipient Error

Please bear with me. The Vista community has frustrated me to no end today.
I have just purchased a new pc with Visa and Outlook '07 installed. I used
the easy transfer feature in Vista to transfer all files and settings from my
old XP computer. Now, when I try to send e-mails either in a group or
individually, some come back as "invalid recipient". The e-mails are not
invalid, and we have gone back through the 400 e-mails and retyped the
addresses, as well as adding them back to the distribution list. (This is
not what I would have done, but it's the boss's pc. She would not wait for
me to come to the office to check on settings.) Any idea what I'm missing?

hmmmm. really scratching your head . Arent you ?

OK, ill suggest to backup whatever you have in outlook 2007 (as pst). Create
a new profile. Then open this pst file and then making it the default.
try this. I would recommend you copying over the pst from the old PC itself
rather than using the vista thing

Thanks so much for your replies. I have tried to recreate the profile
following the instructions below, and am still receiving the error:

"Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients."

I received the error on my laptop running Outlook '03 a few weeks ago, and I
set the outgoing mail server to require authentication. This corrected the
problem there, but does not resolve the problem with this computer running
'07. We have a POP3 e-mail account.
