Hi

I had to reinstall XP home edition on my PC and am getting the invalid product key message. I have double, triple, and rechecked again that I enter it right and it still doesn't work. I also tried entering a friend's product key and it even told me that one was invalid. I am thinking that my program for some reason will not take any product keys right now

Is there a way to fix this?

Greetings --

You need to examine the Product Key very carefully. It's awfully
easy to mistake a "B" for an "8," a "G" for a "6," an "S" for a "5,"
or a "Q" for a "0" or "O." Fortunately, Microsoft had the good sense
to leave the "1's," "I's," "O's," and "0's" out of the equation.
Also, be sure that your CapsLock if _off_ while entering the Product
Key.

Matt,
Most likely your key is correct, but trying to read some of the key values
can be a real challenge. Many times I have ad to go thru 4-5 tries until I
get it right. Why don't you borrow someone else to enter the keycodes as
they might read them different then you, especially mixing up G for 6 (one
of my favorites) 8 for B, S for 5 and enter 0(zero) for the letter O. Also
make sure that neither your caps locks is on or your numbers lock is one.
Sometimes I go into WordPad and type the code and see what it looks like and
then cut and paste and then most time it works. The Font that Microsoft
picked for the Keycodes is not the easiest thing in the world to read.
