Invalid outlook.pst path

I can't open outlook, and keep getting the following error message: the Path
specified for the file C:Documents and Settings/HPOwner/My Documents/My
Pictures/Outlook.pst is not valid. Even if I try to delete the "My
Pictures" folder and reinstall outlook.pst, the my pics folder keeps
returning. there's nothing in the folder. Does this make sense? I can't
even run the repair tool b/c it keeps pointing me to the "my pictures"
folder. Help!

My Pictures is a system folder
Use the mail applet in the control panel to configure your profile to the
corrct data file / location
PS If you have been restoring a pst, it may well be that you have corrupted
it, if you overwrote any existing pst

Somehow you have altered the mail profile to point to an incorrect location
for your PST. First, look in %UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook and see if there is a PST there. If so, open the
Mail applet in Control Panel and click Data Files. Note the location of the
data file listed there should indicate the incorrect My Pictures path. Use
the Add wizard to point to your real PST (if you found it in the path I
named), make it your delivery location in the E_mail Accounts dialogue, then
remove the reference to the bogus My Pictures file.
