Hi,

I get the above message when I try to open any .msg file. This starts to
happen after I install Outlook Add Ins which works properly. Anyone know why?

I do further research. I notice I only get this error when I have Outlook
open. This message must be caused when Outlook tries to search for the
record, but it didn't find. Is anyone know how to solve this?

This has nothing to do with programming, the focus of this group.

Do you have Google Desktop installed? If so uninstall it or update to the
latest version. That software is known to prevent MSG files from being
opened, whether or not any Outlook integration is enabled.

The Google desktop is not being installed. The message will go away once I
uninstall the Outlook Add-Ins.

Then don't use those addins, obviously they aren't working right if they are
causing this problem. What addins are you using?

I developed Add Ins which save the email to the database.

Well, if your addins are causing the problem then they aren't written
correctly. You need to stop using them or fix them. You haven't provided any
details at all as to your Outlook version, how your addins were written or
anything else, so it's hard to say what's wrong or where your addins are
causing problems.
