the Judge reports that the advice received from Carey has solved his problem.
Why don't all you sad, sick lonely people go away. Or, al the very least -
get a life.
You are all a bunch of cowardly loosers, hiding behind the web to hurt people.
Aside from that, none of you are able to "really" help people in your own
right.
Good for the Judge. Of course, not much was written on how the
problem was actually solved. Here are some possible solutions:
1. The Judge was told to do a telephone activation and a
telephone number.
2. The Judge was told "tough luck" and now go buy a legal
copy of Windows XP.
3. The Judge was told that he will be given an activation
code if he were to acknowledging that he was in possession
of a non-genuine version of Windows XP, and he would turn
over the name of the dealer that sold it to him.
....and so on. Any single one of the 3 above examples would have
solved the problem.
But if one were to install and run both WGA and the diagnostic
program, take a look at the information that is being sent to
Microsoft..."voluntarily", of course. It tells a lot about the
status of the particular machine and how to access it (if one
had the wherewithal to do it). Where it may go and what might
be done with it is anyone's guess. There was never any true need
for WPA in the first place and now this, the abominable WGA. Is
this the harbinger for Vista?
