Invalid boot.ini file

Greg

I shutdown my Windows 2000 computer normally. When I
power it up I now get the error "invalid boot.ini file".
It then searches for the file "ntoskrnl.exe" which it
can't find. Is there a way to repair the boot.ini file
without completely reinstalling Windows 2000
Professional? Any help would be appreciated.
