Invalid argument

Hi,

I am trying to convert a normal query into a table query but when I refresh
the data I get an invalid argument error message. I have not previously had
any problems with this and I am 100% sure that the criteria I am querying is
correct.

Any ideas? I am fairly new to access so any help would be appreciated.

What is a "table query"? Are you talking about a Make Table query?

No matter what, show use the query. Open the query in design view. Next go
to View, SQL View and copy and past it here. Information on primary keys and
relationships would be a nice touch too.

Yes you are correct in that I am talking about a Make Table Query.

I have just tried holding down the shift key when refreshing the data and
this seems to stop the error coming up. This is obviously not ideal as the
refresh takes a long time and I feel like Locke from Lost about the
consequences of not holding down the key!

I am not sure about primary keys and relationships (I'm not very techy i'm
afraid)
