Invalid Argument exporting table to .txt file

I'm trying to export a table that has 23 fields and 5366 records to a fixed
width text file. Error message 'Invalid Argument' received. I'm using the
standard File, Export procedure.

Can you export other tables to fixed-width files? If not, what error
message do you get?

Can you export the same table to a delimited txt file? If not, what
error message?
