when I attempt to click on a web address in an email on Outlook, I keep
getting an intrusive "locate browser link" window. I got instructions once,
followed them precisely, and they worked, but the problem is back again
Permanent solution, please
Thanks,

Point it to your default Internet Browser. For Internet Explorer that would
be iexplore.exe

Well, the Locate Link Browser dialog requests for a .exe file. When then
dialog pops-up use the browse function to browse to firefox.exe.

Dear Roady, I really am not so stupid as I may seem. In fact, I am a retired
neurologist who worked at a major hospital, but I am 72 years old, and
computer problems are new to me Thanks for being so patient. Tell me how to
find the browse function, which I can't seem to locate!!!

The dialog named Locate Link Browser pops-up after clicking on an Internet
link. This dialog requests for a .exe file. The entire dialog is a browing
dialog; you can see all folders on your computer and select and open them.
What it asks from you is to point it to the folder that contains that
contains the exe of your Internet browser. In your case that would be
firefox.exe which is usually located in the folder;
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox"

Somehow on your computer Firefox failed to correctly register itself as the
Internet browser and therefor Outlook cannot find it.
