Outlook interrupts the screensaver everytime it checks the email (11 minutes).

I hope there is a way to control this mishap.

Thanks,
M. Williams

Yes, I have all updates for Outlook 2003.

It seems as if it is a choice in preferences I could correct?

it's not a preference - if outlook causes the screensaver to kick off, you
probably can't stop it except by disabling autocheck. It doesn't seem to do
it on my version, so I thought it might be an update, but it could be the
account types instead - which is not usually within your control either.

What screensaver are you using? I use the default one.

Oh, one thing you could try is requiring a password to resume after the
screensaver.
